San Diego Dog Training and Boarding Facilities

Exercise, training, and dog-to-dog and dog-to-person socialization are the main focuses at Beckman's boarding and training facility. Board and train is great if you don't have the time to start the training process on your own, or if you are going on vacation and want your dog trained when you get back. Along with the free in-home consultation you will get an initial one hour session when your dog is picked up, another one hour session when your dog is dropped off, and as many follow up sessions until you are completely satisfied. When your dog is dropped off, you will receive instruction on how to maintain your dogs new manners and behaviors.

Joel set up the boarding program based on where he would want to send his own dog.

Safety: We only allow three dogs total and they have to be non aggressive. The whole property is double fenced, and the dogs are always monitored.

Health: Due to Joel’s unique schooling he understand how to properly clean and sanitize an animal environment. Joel have also taken many veterinary classes. The pond is kept at swimming pool standards. All dogs will be returned bathed and with clean bedding.

Each day your dog will run in the pasture, climb the rock structure, and swim in the 1000 gallon pond on over an acre of beautiful land. The number of dogs admitted to the program is limited to two (3) so your dog will receive one-on-one attention for their entire stay. Your dog will live and train with The Beckman’s like a part of the family so he can return to you and be a better member of your family.

At Beckman’s Dog Training our first concern is your dog's health and safety. Just like people, what a dog eats and drinks has a huge affect on their activity level, mental well being, and long term health. We are equipped with a state of the art water purification system so your dog will drink only bottled water quality water. Each room is equipped with heat and air conditioning. The first dog that signs up will stay in the deluxe 260 sq ft room with a 150 sq ft outdoor run, and the second dog will stay in the luxury 100 sq ft room. But they wont be spending much time in their rooms because they will be training, exercising and socializing. Your dog is in great hands. Joel's extensive nutrition and veterinary care background makes him able to inform you about the total health and dietary needs of your dog. Joel has a “once a client always a client” policy, which means that if you are a past client and are going out of town you will be able to board your dog at Beckman’s based on availability.
